Obama Wins: John McCain recycles NAACP speech for His Concession Speech Tomorrow I will post an analysis of McCain’s speech to the NAACP on July 16, 2008. There were many portions of his address were essentially repeated in his final address as a candidate for President.

I’m not so sure how I feel about his private address. Making a portion of this speech about Barack Obama being black. I know for many, it is a very important issue, as it is for myself. But I have a sinking feeling that this speech addressed Obama’s success to his being black and not to him being the better candidate.

I want to know if their is anyone comparing past concession speeches to the current ones. Something to think about.

This is a historic time for the United States, but hopefully that speech will be read differently.

Thoughts?
